Wizkid is not the only Nigerian shortlisted for honour at the 59th Grammy Awards holding in Los Angeles on February 12, 2017 after all.
Joining the Starboy Records CEO on the list of nominees is Faridah Demola Seriki (aka Kah-Lo), daughter of former Minister of Defence and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Demola Seriki.
The rising international star is nominated in the Best Dance Recording category of the Grammy for her vocal performance in ‘Rinse & Repeat’ by Riton.
Kah-Lo, a graduate of journalism from Hofstra University, New York was full of positive emotions after the nomination was announced on Tuesday.

Other tracks nominated in the category are ‘Tearing Me Up’ by Bob Moses, ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ by The Chainsmokers feat. Daya, ‘Never Be Like You’ by Flume feat. Kai and ‘Drinkee’ by Sofi Tukker.
‘Rinse & Repeat’ was released as a digital download in the United Kingdom on 26 February 2016.
The song entered the UK Singles Chart at number 13 and at number 2 on the UK Dance Chart.
