Elegushi of Ikate land, His Royal Majesty Oba Saheed Elegushi, Kusenla III, has clocked 10 years on the throne of his ancestors.
In a post on Instagram on Monday, the monarch said he began the journey 10 years ago with faith, courage and ‘uncommon grace’.
“…So join me, as I celebrate the 10th Year Anniversary of my coronation as the Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom,” he wrote.
“We look forward to greater heights but we are not unmindful of our modest achievement these past ten years. To God indeed be the Glory. Peace and development is a continuous process for us.”
The 21st monarch of Ikate, Elegushi was said to be the youngest Lagos monarch on his coronation on April 27, 2010.
The 43-year-old was part of the administration of former Lagos governor, Bola Tinubu, and also that of Babatunde Fashola as senior special assistant in charge of special duties.
