The Lagos State Government will on Friday (today) unveil the second edition of the magazine, Cinema in Lagos, at the Cannes Film Festival holding in France.
It is the second consecutive year the magazine dedicated to the business of film and tourist attraction in Lagos will be presented to filmmakers, journalists and other film enthusiasts at the festival.
The unveiling will take place inside the Lagos State Pavilion, 2010 Pantenrio Section at the Festival Village by 400 pm.
Some of the eminent personalities expected at the unveiling ceremony include Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Fola Adeyemi; filmmaker and Chairman Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Tourism, Desmond Elliot; filmmaker and Board Member, Lagos Council for Arts and Culture, Kunle Afolayan; Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Film and Video Censors Board, Dele Balogun, and representatives of the French Embassy in Lagos.

It also has features on film as part of the Lagos tourism master plan as explained by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode at the Lagos State Tourism Summit in April,
Actors Joke Silva, Omoni Oboli, Elliot are also featured among others, as well as the growth of grassroots cinema in the birthplace of Nollywood.
