Former Senate President Bukola Saraki on Saturday welcomed the Lagos4Lagos movement, a former group within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The lead visioner of Lagos4Lagos movement Olajide Adediran alias Jandor led members of the movement into the main opposition party.
Adediran said in a Facebook post, “It’s official…it’s time to return Power back to the people. We have moved…it’s time.”
Media mogul and member of the board of trustees of the PDP Raymond Dokpesi had in November led a delegation of the party to the Ikeja secretariat of the Lagos4Lagos movement.
The visit was in continuation of PDP’s consultation with critical stakeholders across Nigeria following its national convention.
Dokpesi said that no political party should ignore “Jandor” as a brand.
In his response, Adediran appreciated the delegation for believing in the “can-do ability” of the movement.
