The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, will on Thursday, October 6, unveil the Federal Government’s national re-orientation campaign, Change Begins With Me, to the private sector.
This comes in spite of claims by businessman and social crusader, Akin Fadeyi, that the minister doctored proposal he (Fadeyi) submitted to him to kick-off the campaign which was launched by President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday, Mohammed said the unveiling to the private sector is in line with the pronouncement by President Buhari, in his speech at the launch of the campaign on September 8, 2016, that the private sector is a ”major stakeholder” in the campaign.
He said the unveiling will not only deepen the private sector’s understanding of the campaign, but will also make it possible for that critical sector to know how they can key in to it.
The ceremony holds at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Fadeyi has already written to the President requesting a thorough investigation into alleged copyright infringement by the information minister.
