Nollywood actress Laide Bakare is celebrating fellow actress Ayo Adesanya as she turns a year older.
On Tuesday in an Instagram post, the movie star extended love to her senior colleague, wishing her the best.
Actress Olaitan Ogungbile also joined to celebrate the 51-year-old on her special day.
She wrote: “The older you get, the finer you become just like wine 🍷♥️ happy birthday my Happy Feet @ ayoadesanya on this your special day Dance. Party. Celebrate. Sing. Gbe body and Shake I pray almighty bless you with a lifetime of happiness, life’s biggest joys after all you are a gift and a blessing to the world.”
A native of Ijebu, Ogun State, Ayo attended St. Ann School, Ibadan, Oyo State for her secondary education before proceeding to the University of Ibadan.
She began acting on the soap opera Palace before moving to mainstream Nollywood.
A popular face in English and Yoruba movies, Ayo has also produced and directed her own movies.
Her broken marriage to Goriola Hassan produced a son and she has not ruled out the possibility of taking another shot at marriage.
