Prof Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello has been confirmed as the new vice-chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU).
Below are four things you should know about her:
1. Olatunji-Bello was born in Lagos on April 23, 1964 to Emiola Ibidapo-Okunrinboye of Owo, Ondo State and Jadesola Ibidapo nee Abraham of Ita Kose, Lagos Island.
2. She bagged her first degree in physiology in 1985 at the University of Ibadan and got her master’s degree in 1987 at the University of Lagos.
3. She is married to Lagos State commissioner for environment and water resources Tunji Bello who is also a former secretary of Lagos State Government. They are blessed with three children,
4. Olatunji-Bello is the area pastor in charge of Testimony Chapel, an area under Lagos Province 1 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
