All Progressives Congress’ (APC) preferred candidate for Senate presidency, Senator Ahmad Lawan, has arrived at the chamber.
He was accompanied by a large number of senators as the inauguration of the ninth National Assembly is billed to begin at 10 am Tuesday.
Another strong contender for the position of Senate president, Senator Ali Ndume, arrived earlier at the National Assembly at about 7:20 am on Tuesday.
Mr Ndume, on arrival, greeted several people and headed straight for the mosque to pray.
