Lawyer and politician Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has welcomed a baby boy with her husband Emmanuel Uduaghan, the Alema of Warri Kingdom, Delta State.
Akpoti-Uduaghan was the 2019 governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Kogi.
The lawyer got married to Uduaghan at a high profile traditional ceremony on March 5 in Kogi.
She told Vanguard on Friday that her baby arrived on Wednesday.
“Myself and my husband, Chief Emmanuel Oritsejolomi Uduaghan are very happy for the blessing of a bouncing baby boy,” she said.
“We thanked God Almighty for this blessing. We are full of gratitude and thanks to God.”
Her husband shares the same name with the former governor of Delta State Emmanuel Uduaghan.
Musician Daddy Showkey, who performed at the couple’s wedding, said in an Instagram post on Saturday, “Congratulations my brother Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan and His lovely wife, Chief Natasha H Akpoti Uduaghan #natashaakpoti on the birth of their new born baby.”
Akpoti-Uduaghan’s wedding was attended by the nation’s who’s who such as the Olu of Warri, Tsola Emiko; former governors of Delta, James Ibori and Uduaghan; former Senate President, Bukola Saraki; Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa; Senator Godswill Akpabio; and members of the national working committee of the Peoples Democratic Party led by the national chairman, Iyiorcha Ayu.
Entertainers who were present at the occasion include 2Baba, Iyanya, Oritsefemi, Kizz Daniel, Daddy Showkey, Bovi, Faze, Danfo Driver, Praiz, Hypeman and Do2tun.
