Founder of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach Ministry Evangelist Ebuka Obi has claimed that the former director-general of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF) of Equatorial Guinea Baltasar Engonga, who allegedly had sexual relations with married women, was linked to occultism.
Mr Engonga appeared in about 400 sex videos with several women including his brother’s wife, cousin, sister of the president of Equatorial Guinea, wife of the director general of police, and about 20 wives of ministers.
The videos were said to have been found on his computer after officials probing fraud allegations searched his home and office.
The clips were filmed in his office, hotel rooms and toilets — allegedly with the consent of participants.
Engonga is in police custody as the government considers prosecuting him.
Reacting to the development in a video obtained by QEDNG on Friday, Evangelist Obi told his followers during a virtual session that the case was more spiritual than physical.
He also said that a man who came to him for deliverance sometime ago told him about his own experience as member of a cult.
“They said this man is trending everywhere. They said he slept with 400 women. Some people think it is ordinary,” he said.
“Most of these people in authority are sitting on so many things. Some of them are members of secret cult. You think he prefers to be sleeping with married women? I know an occult man that told me every month he must lie with 50 women. Any month he doesn’t do it, he will die.”
