Controversial singer Naira Marley has come to the defense of Ayra Starr after the ‘Sabi Girl’ hitmaker faced criticism for dancing to his latest song, ‘Pxy Drip (I’m Back).’
The backlash erupted when a video surfaced online on Thursday of Ayra Starr singing and vibing to Naira Marley’s track, drawing ire from some who accused her of supporting the artist amid his ongoing controversy.
Recall that in 2023, critics had called for Naira’s cancellation due to his alleged role in the death of his former signee, Mohbad.
In response to the criticism, Naira Marley took to the X platform, urging his critics to stop attacking Ayra Starr.
He reposted the viral video of her dancing and, in a series of posts, fired back at detractors.
“Cry in peace and stop disturbing us with noise 
,” he wrote, followed by a sarcastic post: “Leave her alone and cancel me again 
.”
His defiant response has sparked further debate online, with some fans suggesting that Ayra Starr should have distanced herself from the controversial artist.
