Leicester City coach, Claude Puel, has hailed the impact of Nigeria international, Wilfred Ndidi, at the club.
Ndidi, 21, has seamlessly slotted in for N’Golo Kante after the Frenchman moved to Chelsea two summers ago.
The unheralded combative midfielder, who joined from Genk in January, has been ever present in the Foxes team.
This season alone, the 21-year-old has played every single minute at the King Power.
And Puel, who replaced Craig Shakespeare on the dugout last month, is more than impressed by the Nigerian.
“Wilfred has made progress also,” the Frenchman told Leicester City Mercury on Friday.
“He is a fantastic recoverer of the ball, winning the ball back, and gives us possession.
“He puts in some fantastic work on the pitch. I think also he improves with the ball and plays with quality.
“I think he can make further progress in this area. He has great potential for the future.”
Puel will be banking on Ndidi once again when they visit Newcastle on Saturday.
