Ghanaian actress and show host, Cecilia Konamah, has revealed that she was a lesbian before marriage.
Speaking in a recent interview with Hello FMs, Abena Ghana, as she is popularly known said, “My husband is aware of that.
“Yes, he knows that I was a lesbian and he is very comfortable with me in our marriage.”
“He also said even if I had once stood on the streets as a hawker, he likes me as I am.”
“I was introduced into the act by some friends.”
Known for playing sex roles, Cecilia hinted that some people may want to blackmail her because of her past sexual orientation.
“If somebody thinks she wants to bring it out just to break my marriage, then let me tell the person that my husband is aware,” the Leave My Wife actress added.
Cecilia began acting in 2008 but stopped two years later due to what she described in a 2016 interview with NEWS-ONE’s Francis Addo as “some personal reasons”.
With over 40 films to her credit, the 28-year-old told Addo that “I don’t prepare for my sex roles. I act it just like doing any other role because it’s not real, just an act. I can only be prepared with my man.”
