Singer Lil Frosh has defended himself against his ex-girlfriend Camille who insisted that the singer physically assaulted her while they were dating.
Lil Frosh, 24, was signed to the Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) record label on October 25, 2019.
His contract was, however, terminated on October 6 2020 following the alleged assault on his Camille.
The singer was later arraigned before a Yaba magistrate court and remanded in Ikoyi prison.
Camille later withdrew her case against Lil Frosh in 2022, after settling out of court.
However, on Saturday in a post on his Instagram page, the singer claimed innocence and begged Davido for another chance to revive his career.
“God knows I didn’t beat Gemini, I was framed, I was blackmailed. I still can’t get my career after all I paid her because of the lies that were told against me.
“Nobody gave me listening ears. I tried to explain to my ex-boss @davido but he didn’t want to listen because of his zero tolerance for hitting women. Help me beg Davido to give me a chance again,” he said.
Although Davido refollowed him on Instageram, Camille on her part shared a series of photos on Instagram, showing her brutalised body from alleged physical abuse from Lil Frosh in that same year.
Backing her statement, she wrote: “YES Lil Frosh did hit me countless times, it wasn’t just “a slap“, it was never ever just a slap! I never disrespected his mom! I lost so many pictures and video evidence from the previous beatings and these are the only ones I could get my hands on since it’s been years now and I never knew the day would come again where he’ll want to pin everything on my head!
“He beat me up and hit me at the back of my head with an iron rod, while beating me I hit my head on the wall and that’s when the swelling and internal bleeding started.”
Reacting to the post on Instagram on Monday, Lil Frosh said people are taking sides with Camille because she is a woman. He insisted that his ex-girlfriend lied and he was innocent.

“Same person that told the world that I made her face swell with beating was asking me if I did something spiritual to her when the face started swelling because she didn’t even know what was wrong with her face, she even apologized to me over everything because she wasn’t sure what had happened, this same girl told the world that I beat her up to this point, it is obvious that people will take her side as a woman God knows I am innocent.
“She’s claiming we got back and the second and last slides of this post are the evidence that We never got back and we never spent any time together apart from the time I was seeking for her mercy to come out and tell the world she lied against me and to make sure all allegations against me gets withdrawn. What’s Your Gain After All You Did to me? EVIL PEOPLE,” he wrote.
