Pregnant blogger, Linda Ikeji, has denied advocating that women should not have sex before marriage.
According to her, what she tells young women is that they should not offer sex for financial rewards.
The 37-year-old made clarification amid the backlash that followed confirmation that she was pregnant for an unnamed partner.
“About this celibacy issue. I preached it a lot of times but I have NEVER said do not have sex before marriage. Here’s what I have always said to young girls and I maintain it.
“Never ever give your body to a man for money. You’re worth so much more than that. You’re beautiful beyond measure and there’s absolutely nothing a man can give you that you can’t give yourself if you apply yourself, believe in yourself and work hard,” she wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
She added that she was 100 percent celibate until she was ready to share her life with someone, and has met the man of my dreams whose identity she is not willing to share on the internet.
