Nollywood actress, Lizzy Anjorin, has explained why the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, sent her a gift of rice and other foodstuff.
The Owowunmi star explained this in a video she shared on Instagram on Friday.
She said, ’’…Some people said, why is Baba sending Lizzy food?… You need to blame yourself…Your circle…Before you ask people to help you, ask who I work for?… Then blame the oga of all of them, the people we voted…’’
Lizzy announced on Thursday that she had received a package containing rice, oil, seasoning and other foodstuff from the monarch, with whom she enjoys a close relationship.
She wrote on Instagram, ’’When trust, love & bond of father to daughter is solid this is the result. My father has done it again. As usual, May Allah grant all your heart desire sir Insha Allah…As I don grow reach baba still dey send me food heaven will smile at you sir…’’
