Lola Alao recovers from coronavirus

Nollywood actress Lola Alao on Sunday announced that she had recovered from coronavirus (COVID-19).

Lola made the announcement in an Instagram post.

The actress narrated her experience in isolation, describing COVID-19 as a deadly virus.

“I tested positive for COVID-19 but I am fine now. To God be the glory. I was sick to the bone and couldn’t smell anything. I was so scared because I had kids to take care of. You don’t ever want to imagine going into self-isolation and not seeing your loved ones,” she wrote.

She encouraged Nigerians to take their health seriously.

“I don’t know what you must have heard about COVID-19, but I tell you today that it is way deadlier than you can ever think of,” she added.

On Sunday, actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde also revealed she and her children were now COVID-19-free.
