The wife of singer, Peter Okoye, Lola Omotayo, has demanded that the government disclose the location of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari.
She made the demand in a video she posted on Instagram on Thursday.
“Guys, the Lagos State Commissioner for Health said that he doesn’t know where Abba Kyari is currently located…He is Buhari’s Chief of Staff and we don’t know where he is?… We need to know as Nigerians…Don’t lie to us…,” she said.
It was announced on March 27 that Kyari had tested positive for coronavirus after a trip to Germany.
Kyari issued a statement on March 29, confirming his diagnoses and said he would be working from home as a result.
He also added that he would be in Lagos on Monday to undergo some tests.
However, on Tuesday, the Commissioner for Health Lagos State, Professor Akin Abayomi, denied any knowledge of Kyari’s stay in Lagos.
He said, “I don’t know where he is, we chat on WhatsApp but I cannot tell where he is from our chat.”
