UK-based Nigerian woman Pelumi Nubi, who was involved in an accident while on a solo road trip from London to Lagos, has said that she came out unhurt from the crash.
Nubi got her followers worried on Tuesday when she posted a video of her damaged car on Instagram and asked for prayers.
An unidentified person was also seen being attended to by medics in the video.
However, on Wednesday, the travel content creator thanked God in an Instagram post for rescuing her from the accident.
“God has really shown His mercy. Miraculously, I emerged unharmed from the accident —I survived.
“A big thank you for all your love, prayers, and good thoughts! It’s crystal clear to me that I have a family here online, rooting for me every step of the way,” she wrote.

Nubi added that she was taking it easy for now, but would keep going.
“The journey is far from over, and with renewed strength and your unwavering support, I will continue to move forward,” she wrote.
Although it was unclear where the accident occurred, it is believed to have happened in Liberia. Nubi was held at the border of the West African country for two days over her right-hand car.
The 29-year-old began the trip on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
