Actress Ada Ameh has said that losing her daughter Ladi Ameh broke her.
Ada made this known during a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo.
According to the actress, she would sometimes take alcohol to get over her grief. She also stated that her late daughter was her prayer partner, her cheerleader and praise singer.
“This was the one – losing my daughter – that broke me. What am I doing? What next? What am I going to do? That was my number one praise singer. That was my number one cheerleader. That was my prayer partner.
“I think this is the first time I am saying (these things) – not having anything like alcohol in my system at all since she passed.
“Sometimes when I’m invited for some functions, I get myself knocked up. I just look at people knowing fully well that, they don’t know I know by the way they stare at me. ‘Should I just tell her sorry?’,” she said.
The actress recently visited her daughter’s grave in honour of her 1st death anniversary.
Ladi died on October 20, 2020, in Abuja following an unsuccessful surgery.
She was buried in Gwarinpa, Abuja on October 31.
