The Odole Oodua, chairman of Premier Lotto Limited and Balogun of Remoland Sir Kessington Adebutu on Sunday clocked 86.
A native of Iperu Remo in Ikenne Local Government of Ogun State, Adebutu is fondly called Baba Ijebu on the streets of Nigeria.
Born to the Muslim family of Folarin and Selinat Adebutu in Iperu-Remo, who both lived up to 97 and 94 years respectively, having started out as a pool agent in the 60s, Baba Ijebu went ahead to redefine the lotto business in the country.
He has other business interests in agriculture, hospitality, manufacturing, entertainment, real estate among others.
Celebrating him on social media, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun wrote, “On behalf of my family, the government and good people of Ogun state, I felicitate you on attaining the age of four scores and six.
“We pray that God will grant you the grace of many more years in the service of humanity in good health. Many happy returns, Baba!”
