Nollywood actress Annie Idibia on Saturday celebrated her husband Innocent Idibia also known as 2face on his birthday in spite of their marital crisis.
The mother of two shared a throwback photo of herself and 2face with the hashtag #LYTID (Love you till I die).
“Happy birthday to a guy, my mine,” she wrote.
2face also shared a photo of himself and Annie on Instagram, with a message saying, “I know I’m not without mistakes neither I’m I perfect but we keep learning and working and striving to become the best version of ourselves. It is well. Happy new year to me, May the almighty guild all of us and protect our home.”
The birthday post came as a surprise to celebrities and fans, following Annie’s outburst on social media on Thursday, September 2nd.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Annie Idibia accused him of spending nights with Pero Adeniyi, who is the mother of three of his seven children.
The accusation led to 2face’s brother Charles Idibia calling Annie and her mother a ‘witch’.
With things spiraling out of control, 2face was forced to release a statement on Instagram that reads “I admit that bringing our personal issues on social media was not cool but I will not sit back and watch everyone have a free for all battle here in the name of love or solidarity.
“None of us is perfect. I will like to urge our families and supporters to stop the madness and the public to please respect our privacy and our kids. Let us deal with our issues internally. I take God beg una.”
