Former Miss Nigeria UK, Dabota Lawson, has advised her fans to love themselves and refuse the temptation of going back to their former lovers.
The 27-year-old model said this on Thursday in a post on Instagram to mark Valentine’s Day.
Dabota wrote, “You will not heal by going back to what broke you. Don’t send that text and don’t make that call, Love yourself and Ignore the pressure of today. Happy Valentine’s day.”
Born in Rivers State into a family of 10, Dabota spent her teenage years in Nigeria before leaving the country at the age of 16 to the United Kingdom to pursue a college education.
Whilst studying in the UK, she competed and won the Miss Nigeria UK beauty pageant in 2010.
Dabota Lawson married chairman/CEO, Novena Majesty Furniture Industries Limited, Prince Aku, in 2014 despite an age difference of 35 years.
