Nigerian rapper, M.I, has drunk the Kanye Cool-Aid and is now doing the American rapper’s signature move of expressing himself via Twitter.
The Chocolate City act on Monday went on the micro blogging site to defend a statement he made on Saturday, where he boasted that Nigerian rappers are better than American lyricists.
In the Kanye West tradition, M.I expressed in series of posts that he is just as great or even greater that 95% of American rappers.
He also applauded Nigerian artistes and urged them to show their craft to the world.
The ‘Bullion Van’ rapper however noted through replies to some of his fans that Kendrick Lamar – an American rapper – is one of the “greatest at the moment” while adding that J. Cole is also a “great rapper”.
