Made Kuti, son of Afrobeat singer Femi Anikulapo-Kuti, has announced that his Instagram account has been hacked.
The 25-year-old in a tweet said his followers should ignore any post they see till he retrieves his account.
“My IG has been hacked (@madekuti) Trying to recover it so ignore the last couple of posts,” he wrote.
Going through Made’s Instagram account, a man named Fred Binomo has been advertising an investment scheme known to be a scam.
Made is a product of Femi Kuti’s relationship with Funke. In December 2018, he graduated from London’s Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, the same institution attended by his grandfather Fela Anikulapo-Kuti in the 1960s.
He plays the saxophone, guitar and drum set fairly well.
