Senior pastor of House on the Rock Church Paul Adefarasin and his wife Ifeanyi Adefarasin have extolled the virtues of the publisher of The Guardian newspaper Maiden Ibru.
Ibru, who is also chairman of Federal Palace Hotel, clocked 75 on Wednesday.
In an Instagram post, Adefarasin and his wife described the celebrant as a woman of “sterling virtues,” adding that her heart is full of love and generosity.
“Today, we celebrate a remarkable woman; Lady Maiden Ibru, on her 75th birthday,” they wrote.
“As publisher of The Guardian, she continues to honor her late husband Alex Ibru’s legacy, expertly balancing family and leadership. Her kindness, wisdom, and commitment to justice and equity inspire us all.
“With a heart full of love and generosity, Lady Maiden has proven to be a loyal friend to all who know her well and a shining example of her many sterling virtues.
“We salute you Aunty Maiden, you are our true heroine, we write with love, respect, and admiration.”
