Former chairman of the defunct Pension Reformed Taskforce Team Abdulrasheed Maina who is facing N2billion money laundering charges collapsed in the dock on Thursday.
The court was scheduled to hear his no-case submission following closure of the prosecution’s case with nine witnesses on Wednesday.
Maina collapsed as his lawyer Anayo Adibe was briefing Justice Okon Abang that the defence team had yet to receive the records of proceedings requested from the court’s registry.
Prison officials immediately rushed to attend to him.
The court has adjourned for five minutes.
Maina had before jumping bail appeared in court in a wheelchair with claims of failing health.
