Uzoma Omenka, the manager of reggae musician, Majek Fashek, has threatened to beat Daddy Freeze after the Cool FM presenter queried the musician’s performance at the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) church in Abuja.
A visibly angry Omenka made the threat in a video uploaded to Instagram on Tuesday night.
Sitting on a sofa with Majek playing the guitar by his side, Omenka said Freeze should never mention his client’s name again on social media.
“I will beat you up and conduct deliverance on you,” he said, adding that there is nothing wrong in the “cute, young Pastor (Biodun) Fatoyinbo making things happen for the youth of Nigeria.”
He said that if Freeze knew Majek’s songs like he claimed, he would know that they are fit to be played in anywhere even in a shrine.
Freeze had earlier criticised Majek’s performance, writing on Instagram: “I am still searching for the sense in this, I am a huge Majek fan, but do I want to see him perform in a church? How did we get here? Maybe I’m wrong, but I thought Christian altars are supposed to be sacrosanct.”
