Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde on Tuesday led four northern governors to Shasha Market in Ibadan to assess the destruction at the scene of the clash between Yoruba and Hausa communities.
The northern governors include Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano, Bello Matawalle of Zamfara, and Abubakar Sanni of Niger.
They came into Ibadan on Monday night to visit the area where violence raged last Friday leading to destruction of lives and property.
Makinde had visited the market on Sunday in the company of Ondo State governor who is also chairman of South-West Governors’ Forum Rotimi Akeredolu.
