Nollywood actor, Joseph Benjamin, has to capture many (female) hearts with his good looks. And acting too.
Born on November, 9, 1976 in Benue State, he is also known for co-hosting MTN Project Fame with Adaora Oleh.
Benjamin made his screen debut at the age of 12 when he appeared on the popular children’s programme, Tales by Moonlight, on NTA. In 1991, he starred alongside Ramsey Noah and Sandra Achums in Crossroad for his movie debut.
He has featured in several Nollywood movies including Tango With Me, Mr. and Mrs, Murder at Prime Suites, Married but Living Single, Silence, Stripped, Contract, Faith and Darkside.
The handsome actor has also starred in several television series, including Edge of Paradise, Tinsel, Super Story and Bachelors.
He won the African Actor of the Year award at the 2012 African Film Awards and was recently nominated for Golden Actor in the Golden Movie Awards which was held on May 21, 2015.
A father of two, Joseph Benjamin got married in 2004 but separated from his wife in 2012.
Available for worthwhile professional projects, the actor is, however, not in any undue haste to become yoked to another woman.
“I am right now so focused on work and giving a good life to my children. I am not searching. I am good where I am,” he was recently quoted as saying.
