Diego Maradona has been kicked him out of the house he shared with his young girlfriend – even though he owns it.
Maradona who is reportedly split from Rocio Oliva has been forced out of the property exclusive Bella Vista area of the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires.
Argentine journalist Lio Pecoraro broke the news on the ‘Todas Las Tardes’ programme on the El Nueve channel.
Pecoraro said: “The ex-footballer was thrown out of the house he gifted to Rocio in Bella Vista. The ex-number 10 doesn’t want to leave. The relationship between them is finished.”
The pair are said to have split up after Oliva, 28, described herself as single on TV show ESPN Redes, which Pecoraro says “fired Diego up”, adding that the pair argued at their home for a whole weekend.
Another host of the programme said: “She doesn’t want to go to Mexico under any circumstances. She wants to stay in Argentina.”
In July Maradona gave Oliva an engagement ring on her 28th birthday and the couple were set to get married four years after he initially proposed to her.
He initially asked Oliva to marry him in Rome in February 2014 but it took him a while to present her with a ring and the couple will now set a date for the wedding.
Maradona is currently the manager of Mexican second-tier side Doradoas de Sinaloa and spends much of his time in Mexico.
The 58-year-old met Oliva in 2012 after divorcing his first wife Claudia Villafane in 2003 after 17 years of marriage.
Oliva is an ex-professional footballer who played for several clubs in the couple’s native Argentina.
