Former Big Brother Naija housemate Maria Chike has fired back at critics who questioned her real age.
The reality star turned actress star posted photos of herself on Twitter on Sunday which she captioned, “Road to 30…. #MariaChikeAt30.”
Reacting, a tweep, Ukwu Brabus questioned, “Please nau you graduated FGGC Owerri before I even entered how are you 30 sis ?”
Another critic Olaedo faulted Maria’s age saying, “It’s shocking to see my four years senior in FGGC Owerri claiming to be 30 this year”.
James Teddy said, “Which 30 abi road to 40 make una no Dey use football age for here. Anyways you still look yummy.”
“Maria is really funny. She has revealed 3 different ages. Her BBNaija age, the age “they mistakenly put on her passport” and her new stage. She just needs to be consistent with whichever story it is she’s telling,” another tweep wrote.
“I appreciate that you find me funny,” Maria replied.
Another user Jane reacted saying, “You are so scared of your age! Own it woman! It feels good to be old! Bye.”
“And you’re so scared to love me cause you don’t love yourself ! Bye baby,” Maria fired back at Jane.
Maria’s fans also defended her against critics.
Mazeedah said, “Why are they all crying about Maria’s age? You people should leave the girl and let her breath! Is it today you know she is 30yrs old or you just wanna show your stupidity few days to her birthday. It’s not funny.”
