Dancer Korra Obidi has revealed that she can not talk about her marriage crisis because she is not strong enough to tell her own side of the story.
The 27-year-old said this in a Facebook live video in the early hours of Saturday.
According to the dancer, focusing on herself and taking care of her children is her main priority. The dancer also pleaded with the public to take it easy on her and stop with the hateful comments on social media.
Korra also apologised to her fans who thought she had a “perfect marriage”.
“I don’t want to air my dirty laundry in public because I know the internet never forgets. First of all I want to apologise to everyone who saw the perfect depiction of family, perfect definition of love, interracial love that I projected online and bought into it and now they are very disappointed with what is going on. I am sorry that you had to see that.”
Breaking down in tears, she said: “I’m just trying to be strong for my girls. I’m just trying to keep things together. That is how I cope, I cope with dance and I cope with expressing through my craft. I’ll share my own side of the strong when I’m strong enough. For now I just want to be there for my kids. I will talk about my story but until then please be patient with me and please know that I have two girls that I have to take care of.”
Korra and her husband Justin Dean became a trending topic after the latter announced they are getting a divorce.
