Olubankole Wellington, the musician popularly known as Banky W, has declared that some people are destined not to get married.
Speaking on a programme at Metro FM on Thursday, the 35-year-old R&B singer said he was in no rush to get married, pointing out that famous media proprietor, Oprah Winfrey, did not get marriage yet she managed to change the world.
“The same people who would pressurise you to get married are the people who would criticise you when you fail.
“Oprah Winfrey changed the world but she never got married. It is not the destiny of every single person to get married,” the ‘Don’t Break my Heart’ hit-maker told the radio station.
Banky W has been romantically linked to his EME Records first lady, Niyola, and an Italian-Ghanaian model, Andrea Manuella Giaccaglia, but all the parties denied any romantic link.
