Manchester United striker, Anthony Martial, has won the Barclays Player of the Month award for September beating Nigeria’s own Odion Ighalo.
The French teenager has enjoyed a fine start to life at Old Trafford after signing from Monaco on deadline day in an initial £36million deal.
Martial arrived with big expectations and has already become a favourite at United with his displays.
The 19-year-old took the prize after notching three goals in his first two Premier League matches.
Martial announced himself at Old Trafford in style with a solo strike in the 3-1 win over rivals Liverpool.
A double in the next fixture at Southampton followed, with Martial also collecting the man-of-the match award for his display against Sunderland.
Meanwhile, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has won the Manager of the Month award.
Spurs won all three of their Premier League matches last month and lie eighth in the table.
