Manchester United forward, Anthony Martial, on Saturday inspired a last-gasp 2-1 victory over Everton at Wembley.
The 20-year-old Frenchman assisted Marouane Fellaini for the first goal in the 33rd minute, which prompted a spell of dominance by the Red Devils.
Everton had an opportunity to restore parity just before the hour mark when United youngster, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, was adjudged to have fouled Ross Barkley in the penalty box, but David De Gea made an excellent save from Romelu Lukaku’s spot kick.
Fellaini almost came close to infuriate his former side again, but his effort struck Phil Jagielka’s arm to block the goal-bound strike.
That would come to haunt United. With 15 minutes left to play, Chris Smalling diverted Gerard Deulofeu’s cross into his own net, his first own goal since April 2010.
This prompted a nervy finish for both sides, with the game heading into extra time.
United secured a dramatic win in the 92nd minute, when Martial fired past Joel Robles to send Louis van Gaal’s men through to the FA Cup final for the first time in nine years.
