Filmmaker Biodun Stephen has described her colleague Mary Njoku as a “force to reckon with” on her birthday.
Biodun said this in the comment section of Mary’s birthday post on Instagram on Sunday.
The Aki and Pawpaw director also described Mary as a goal setter, a visionary and one full of greatness.
“You are a greatness embodied Mary: a visionary, a goal setter, a barrier keeper, a force to reckon with and you’re only just the beginning. God bless you and happy birthday. The birthday don even sweet oga has made sure,” she wrote.
Expressing her gratitude for witnessing another year, Mary posted her photo in Instagram saying, “Happy Birthday #mamaObi. I am blessed. And I know it. So many people didn’t make it to this age and some wouldn’t. But I am here.
“God, I am grateful for another year of bliss. And I promise to live it to the fullest, so help me God. Happy Birthday.”
