Nollywood actress, Mary Njoku, has revealed that her mother-in-law has recovered after getting infected with coronavirus.
The 35-year-old made this known on Instagram on Monday.
“We almost lost my mother in law because of coronavirus over the last few weeks…,” she wrote.
Mary’s husband, Jason Njoku, also shared the story of his mother’s illness on Twitter on Monday.
He tweeted, “My mum has been an @NHSuk healthcare worker for 25 years. 14-16th March she was ill at home with all the symptoms of Covid19…”
The co-founder and CEO of iROKOtv then proceeded to narrate his mother’s journey to recovery.
Mary and Jason got married in March 2012.
They have three children, Obinna, Nwakaego and Amber.
