May Yul-Edochie

May Edochie, estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has kicked off the year with the release of her debut single, ‘Komole,’ a collaboration with artiste Nwando.

Taking to Instagram late Wednesday, the social media influencer described the song as an anthem of thanksgiving, celebrating resilience, faith and divine grace that saw her through the challenges of 2024.

Announcing the release, she wrote, “The big surprise is here. KOMOLE by QUEEN MAY & NWANDO.

“I’m thrilled to share with you all this amazing soul-lifting song, OUT today on all platforms.

“It’s time to bend down (KOMOLE) and dance in appreciation to GOD for seeing us through 2024 and ushering us all into the new year.”

The announcement delighted her fans, who flooded the comment section with praises.

Blessing Nwelle commented, “Kudos to our very own magnificent versatile Queen May and sweet sis @nwandoagbe. You both killed it. Love you to bits ❤️❤️❤️.”

Priceless Chi added, “Finally 😂😂.”

Joy Makun playfully remarked, “Jack of all trades 😍😍👏👏👏🙌. I will send my bill for the music video.”

May’s debut in music comes after a successful year.

In November, she clinched the Best Brand Ambassador award at the annual Social Media Awards gala in Lagos, surpassing contenders like Brain Jotter, Tacha, Stan Nze and Yhemolee.
