Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Lagos State chapter Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo has congratulated Kehinde Oloyede aka Kendoo on his election as the new chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government in Lagos.
Mr Oloyede emerged winner of the election held on Saturday.
In a congratulatory message posted on Instagram on Sunday, MC Oluomo said although they had their differences in the past, they were bound by the love of brotherhood.
“Blood is truly thicker than water. This cliché aptly applies to me and my big brother that is now the new chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government,” his statement read.
“We had our personal differences in the past due to divergent views and opinion but even during that period, deep down, the love of brotherhood had always been there.
“Apart from the fact that he is my big brother, his pedigree and charismatic nature is what further endeared him to me. He is an hardworking and resilient person that built-up his company from ground zero to become a multi-million naira investment.
“We had engaged in series of discussions and he had laid down his vision, plans and approach to transform Oshodi. Seeing his master plan, I decided to go all out for him, yet again, not because we are related but because of his plans and programs.”
MC Oluomo prayed that Oloyede’s emergence would bring peace, prosperity, development, tranquility and joy to Oshodi indigenes and residents.
“May God grant him the needed wisdom to successfully navigate the affairs of the local council to a develop height,” he added.
MC Oluomo is from Oshodi-Isolo Local Government.
