Actress Mercy Aigbe has escaped death after her car tyre burst on her way to Lagos from Benin.
The 45-year-old made a trip to Benin to promote her latest movie Ada Omo Daddy.
Speaking in an Instagram post on Saturday, the actress revealed fear gripped her after her car tyre burst on their way back.
Mercy Aigbe who posted a video of the damaged car, described the incident as the scariest moment of her life.
She wrote: “ALHAMDULILAH 🙏To God be all the Glory!!!!
“The scariest Day of my life! My car tyre burst while we were on top speed on our way back to Lagos from Benin (where I went for a Meet and Greet for my movie) God I have never been this scared! A horrific experience! Screams! Panic! Fear! Prayers! It is such a terrible experience. But I give God the glory for saving us.”
Grateful for her spared life, Mercy’s husband Kazim Adeoti wrote in the comment section of the post, saying: “Alhamdulilai robil al-amin. May God bless and crown your efforts my darling. Your sweat will not go in vain by the grace of the Almighty.”
