Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has gifted a fan an undisclosed amount for a new phone after the fan’s phone was damaged during the #EndSARS protest in Benin, Edo State capital.
The fan identified as Omosede Idemudia had on Saturday thanked Mercy for the gesture in an Instagram post.
“Guys help me say thank you to this great woman.. She just sent me money to buy a new phone, my phone was broken during the peaceful protest in Benin.. GOD bless you ma.. @realmercyaigbe,” the fan wrote.
The 42-year-old actress on Monday reposted it on Instagram saying, “The Nigerian Youths are moving and the gates of hell shall not prevail ✊✊✊✊✊✊✊ My Benin people pls stay safe pls 🙏.”
Mercy has been seen sharing food to #EndSARS protesters in Lagos.
