Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has thrown her weight behind singer Tiwa Savage over her alleged sex tape.
Tiwa Savage has been in the news since she made a claim that she was being blackmailed over a sex tape she made with her current boyfriend. The singer also said that she was not going to give in to the blackmailer’s demands as she hopes to take control of the narrative.
However, a video of a woman alleged to be the singer which has gone viral was posted on the internet on Monday.
Many people have drawn attention to the resemblance between the singer and the woman in the video, pointing out that their clothes, hair and fingernails match.
Reacting in an Instagram post, Mercy Aigbe shared a photo of Tiwa with the caption: “Forever a Queen.”
In another Instagram post, the actress wrote: Nobody! I repeat, nobody holy pass!!. Big shame on the blackmailers, shame.”
