Actress Mercy Aigbe has come under fire following a post by her colleague Nkechi Blessing, saying husband snatchers should be taught a lesson.
The 33-year-old made this known in an Instagram post on Tuesday while reacting to a report on a lady who allegedly eloped with her best friend’s husband.
According to the actress, any lady who does that to her fellow woman should be dealt with to serve as a lesson to others.
The post, however, did not sit well with some Nigerians who accused the actress of supporting her colleague Mercy Aigbe during the latter’s husband-snatching saga.
Instagram users stormed the comment section of the post to accuse Mercy Aigbe of doing the same thing Nkechi Blessing preached against.
“Where was this energy when you sister Mercy, owned another woman’s husband. Gerrraarrrraaa here joor,” Shandy Suzzie wrote.
“Mercy Aigbe be their role model,” Media-Tech wrote.
“If to say na fellow actress nau we nor dey hear una voice,” Luxury hear wrote.
“But you no talk for mercy matter now, why talking now,” Niki wrote.
“You’re right though but this same energy didn’t come through during your bestie’s own,” Jesse King wrote.
“Mercy Aigbe left the group chat. remove the admin then delete the group itself,” Oluwabunmi wrote.
“Tell that to your friend Mercy,” Omotola wrote.
“Mercy Aigbe is on the table,” King_oracle wrote.
