Actress Mercy Aigbe has been crowned the best-dressed female at the premiere of Iyabo Ojo’s epic film Labake Olododo: The Warrior Lord, held on Sunday at Imax Cinemas, Lekki, Lagos.
Iyabo announced the win on Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a poster of Mercy with the inscription, “Mercy Aigbe – Winner, Best Dressed Female.”
Mercy made a grand entrance at the event, arriving on horseback in a Roman-inspired gold warrior ensemble, complete with a bow and arrow, embodying the night’s theme, “Channelling Your Inner Warrior.”
The premiere was graced by several Nollywood stars, including Toyin Abraham, Ruth Kadiri, Priscilla Ojo, Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola, and Bimbo Akintola, many of whom showcased their warrior-inspired outfits.
Celebrating Mercy’s win, Iyabo wrote:

Directed by Biodun Stephen, Labake Olododo is set for a nationwide release on March 28, 2025.
The film stars Iyabo Ojo in the lead role, alongside Odunlade Adekola, Lateef Adedimeji, Mercy Aigbe, Ibrahim Chatta, Ronke Oshodi and others.
The epic tale follows Labake, a fearless warrior who rises against betrayal and injustice in her kingdom, navigating battles and alliances in a gripping story of courage, sacrifice, and destiny.
