Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her husband Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa have welcomed their first child together.
The couple announced the good news with a new music video titled ‘You Do This One’ which was uploaded via Instagram on Friday.
Though the singer did not reveal the gender of the child, reports making rounds online have it that the couple welcomed a baby boy.
They expressed gratitude to God for filling their hearts with joy, their lips with testimonies and their home with celebration.
The post read: “Lord, we are grateful; we approach Your throne with heartfelt songs of praise and thanksgiving.
“You’ve filled our hearts with joy, our lips with testimonies, and our home with celebration. Indeed “YOU DO THIS ONE”.
Several celebrities stormed the comment section of the post to congratulate the couple.

Mercy and Blessed Uzochikwa tied the knot traditionally in Port Harcourt on Friday, August 12, 2022. The white wedding which was held on Saturday was attended by families and friends of the couple including Banky W and Adesua Etomi.
