Nigerian gospel singers Mercy Chinwo, Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan and American gospel artiste Travis Greene have arrived at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos Island for The Experience 2022.
The Experience, Nigeria’s biggest gospel concert, will be returning to TBS for its 17th edition this year after two years of virtual and hybrid versions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the theme, ‘Jesus: The Exceptional One’, the event is scheduled to hold on Friday, December 2, 2022.
A video of Mercy, Nathaniel and Dunsin at the event was uploaded on Instagram on Friday.
In the video, the trio are seen with other officials and ministers making plans for the gospel concert set to begin by 7 pm tonight.
House on the Rock church, the organisers of the popular annual gospel concert, promised that this year’s edition of the event will be like no other held in the past.
The convener of the event and senior pastor of House on the Rock, Paul Adefarasin, promised it would be “a night of pulsating praise, passionate worship, fervent prayers and an outpouring of the presence of God like never seen before.”
Other gospel artistes expected to perform at the event include Sinach, Donnie McClurkin, Chandler Moore, Phil Thompson, Muyiwa Olarewaju, Tim Hughes, Tope Alabi, Onos Ariyo, Preye Odede, Eno Micheals, Eben, and the Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir of the House On The Rock church.
