Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has expressed her gratitude to Bishop David Oyedepo, the presiding bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide for his spiritual guidance and prayers.
In a post on her Instagram page on Friday, Mercy shared a video compilation of her and her husband, Blessed Uzochikwa meeting with Oyedepo.
The video captures several moments of their encounter, including scenes where Mercy received prayers from the bishop. Fellow gospel artiste Tope Alabi is also seen in some of the clips.
In her caption Mercy wrote, “Happy 70th Birthday to a Living Legend, a father, mentor, and a great leader of our time. Daddy, we are grateful to God for giving us such a wonderful father and mentor like you.
“Your life and ministry have been a true blessing and a light to so many. We are thankful for your spiritual guidance, your prayers, and your fatherhood.
“May the Lord bless you richly, increase your anointing, and grant you strength, joy, and peace in abundance as you continue to fulfill His purpose. Have a wonderful and blessed day, Daddy. We love, honour, and celebrate you.”
Mercy’s tribute comes shortly after a three-day praise night concluded on Thursday, where she performed alongside other notable gospel artistes like Tope Alabi and Dunsin Oyekan.
The praise night was done in honour of Bishop David Oyedepo’s 70th birthday marked on Friday.
