Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, husband of gospel singer Mercy Chinwo, has expressed his gratitude to celebrity couple Banky W and Adesua Etomi for honouring his wedding invitation.
Blessed and Mercy tied the knot traditionally in Port Harcourt on Friday August 12. The white wedding which was held on Saturday was attended by families and friends of the couple including Banky W and Adesua who stole the spotlight at the event.
Acknowledging the couple for the role they played at the wedding, Blessed penned down an appreciation message to the duo, calling them his family.
Sharing photos of the couple at the event in an Instagram post on Thursday, the pastor wrote: “Family. The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect, love, loyalty, joy in each other’s life. Thank you Jesus for the gift of Family. Love you both”.
Reacting to the message, Adesua Etomi and Banky W affirmed their love for him.
Pastor Blessed also thanked Apostle Anselm Madubuko, founder of the Revival Church Assembly for attending the wedding.
He wrote: “Taking out time to appreciate Daddy Anslem Madubuko. Despite your busy schedule sir you took out time to grace our wedding ceremony with your presence, I’m humbled by your love and support sir. You are indeed a father and we are deeply touched by the love, support and encouragement you have shown us.Thank you sir and may the good lord continue to protect you.”
