Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson, and her husband, Odianosen Okojie, on Sunday attended the inauguration ceremony of Julius Maada Bio as the new president of Sierra Leone.
The 33-year-old uploaded pictures from the inauguration on Instagram on Monday.
One of the pictures shows her shows her husband, whom she described as the best arm candy a woman could ask for, shaking hands with the new president.
“Hello friends, I’ve been very busy in Sierra Leone for the past few days as a guest of the President and First Lady at the inauguration,” she wrote.
Other Nollywooders who attended the inauguration held at the national stadium in Freetown include Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Osita Iheme and John Okafor (Mr Ibu).
Nigerian pop star, Davido, performed at the event put together by Sierra Leone First Lady, Fatima Bio, who is herself into showbiz.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo also attended in the company of President George Weah of Liberia and President Faure Gnassingbé of Togo among others.
